What do we do?
We work with rural artisans and NGO's at the grassroot level for transparency and bridge the gap between traditional art and fashion and our changing wardrobes today.
We believe in ethical and fair working conditions, superior quality checks on all fabrics and overall reducing the waste that goes into landful by making mindful and meaningful designer pieces.
Our collections explore the world of natural dyes and creative ways to design and style them as staple pieces in the wardrobe. The latest collection puts together expression of art as a form of painting on naturally dyed clothing, a very unique and creative reach.
Upcyling is also our recent venture which is a part of our second collection, Re-Origin, where we source the fabrics from export enrolls, excess textiles that are going to the landfill and in turn repurpose them to create pieces and outfits that are unique and that leases a new life for your clothing, thus puts it back into the circle.

An extrovert by nature, with a need to share her knowledge and learn, she brought to life and founded her own business label, Origin Studio.
The studio believes in sustainability, conscious living and to give back and protect mother earth at all costs.
Founder's Note:
A fashion designer by profession, she realised much too quickly in her college years the impact that her industry left on the earth and its close devastating end came as a looming threat. It is this drive and creative blend that took her through states of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu in the search of traditional art and fashion, way before the age of plastics and pesticides.
She is passionate about reconnecting with the start of human society in order to lead a simple and sustainable life.
Her love for all things natural, strengthened by treks into the wilderness in the himalayas and several wildlife reserves through the years have deeply impacted how she grew up and where her fierce protectiveness developed.
It is with this need for protection and a much larger need to leave a footprint, one that is not carbon, that lead to 'Origin Studio'.
